Mainfreight's San Francisco Transport Branch is seeking a motivated and reliable part time Dock Worker / Loader to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and timely loading and unloading of freight, contributing to the smooth operations of our distribution center.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload freight from trucks and trailers
- Sort and organize freight for accurate distribution within the facility
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and transport freight as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all freight is processed accurately and timely
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area and workspaces
- Assist in checking and verifying freight documentation for accuracy
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment safely and effectively preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects
- Commitment to safety protocols and guidelines
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative team player
