maineline is looking for an experienced Exterior Identification Signage Installation Project Manager to join our team.

This role owns the installation phase of exterior identification signage projects, including signs that require permits, from installation pricing and planning through final project closeout.

You will work closely with clients, designers, internal project managers, production, sales, and third party installation and fabrication partners across the country. This role requires strong project management skills along with the technical knowledge to evaluate fabrication methods, mounting conditions, power requirements, site conditions, and installation needs.

You will be responsible for making sure a project is not simply scheduled for installation, but properly planned, practical, constructible, and ready for successful execution in the field.

• Own the installation phase of multiple exterior identification signage projects from pricing through closeout
• Solicit, review, and evaluate installation and fabrication pricing
• Compare pricing to project scope and identify gaps or concerns
• Evaluate production pricing and buildability with third party fabrication partners
• Evaluate design feasibility, fabrication methods, mounting conditions, power requirements, and installation needs
• Select installation partners based on project needs, capabilities, pricing, and schedule
• Coordinate and oversee site surveys
• Review architectural plans, construction documents, project drawings, and survey information
• Ensure installation partners have complete and accurate information for successful field execution
• Develop installation schedules and make scheduling decisions based on project readiness
• Conduct installation planning meetings
• Review and approve mounting and power details
• Manage project profitability
• Identify installation risks and develop solutions before they impact the project
• Resolve complex field and installation issues
• Make project decisions affecting schedule, cost, and client satisfaction
• Lead client communication at all levels of urgency
• Coordinate punch list, warranty work, and project closeout
• Maintain complete and accurate project documentation in Zoho Projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with installation and fabrication partners throughout the country
• Drive improvements to installation processes and partner performance

• 5 years of project management experience
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and installation partners
• Experience reviewing construction documents and managing installation projects
• Strong technical and practical problem solving skills
• Ability to evaluate fabrication, mounting, power, and installation requirements
• Strong scheduling and project management skills
• Strong understanding of project scope, cost, and profitability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Ability to anticipate problems and develop practical solutions
• Comfortable making independent project decisions and taking ownership of outcomes
• Strong leadership through influence and coordination
• Ability to hold partners and stakeholders accountable professionally and respectfully

• Microsoft Teams
• Zoho Projects experience preferred
• Ability to read architectural plans and construction documents
• Familiarity with ADA requirements, permitting, and signage installation practices is a plus
• Signage, construction, fabrication, or installation experience strongly preferred
