What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor position at Maineline Haul & Junk Removal?
We’re looking for motivated, dependable individuals who aren’t afraid of hard work. This position involves loading and unloading junk, performing property cleanouts, assisting with dumpster deliveries, completing light demolition projects, and providing excellent customer service.
This is a physically demanding position that requires lifting, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and maintaining a positive attitude throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Remove residential and commercial junk
- Load and unload furniture, appliances, construction debris, and household items
- Assist with dumpster deliveries and pickups
- Perform garage, attic, basement, estate, and foreclosure cleanouts
- Complete light demolition projects including sheds, decks, kitchens, bathrooms, and other interior demolition
- Operate hand tools safely
- Maintain clean job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Help maintain company vehicles, trailers, and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Construction, landscaping, moving, demolition, or labor experience is a plus, but not required
