As a CNA in Same Day Surgery, you will play a vital role in assisting patients as they recover from anesthesia following surgical procedures.
Position Highlights:
- Monday - Friday schedule
- No on-call requirements
What You'll Do:
- Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice. Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
- Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
What You Need:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- Previous experience in PACU, surgical, or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of post-operative care and monitoring.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused with a strong attention to detail.
