MARINE MECHANIC / SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN: Portland, ME.
Maine Yacht Center is seeking a qualified, motivated, marine mechanic/systems technician, with a minimum of 3 years' experience, for a full-time, year-round position.
Our boat yard is family owned and we pride ourselves on a clean, modern, professional work environment and a diverse range of projects on both power and sailing vessels up to 75'
A strong, high quality work ethic, and positive attitude are important. Qualified candidates will bring working knowledge and experience in the diagnostics and repair of: diesel engines and all aspects of yacht systems, including plumbing, sanitation, refrigeration/air-conditioning, AC/DC electrical onboard both power and sailing vessels up to 75'. ABYC certifications are a plus but will consider training a candidate with the right skills and aptitude.
Candidate should be a self-starter, able to manage projects on their own and communicate directly with customers. MYC offers training and a competitive benefit package. Position requires that you are in good physical condition and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
