We are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to play a vital role in building our team across six Homes statewide. Position Summary
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will be the bridge between candidates and MVH. You’ll work closely with recruiter, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure a smooth, professional, and welcoming hiring experience. From coordinating interviews to managing applicant tracking systems, you’ll directly influence the quality of talent joining our team and ultimately, the quality of care we provide to Veterans.
What You’ll Do
- Manage requisition postings across multiple job boards and internal systems to maximize candidate reach
- Screen applications for qualifications and alignment with MVH’s mission and values
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters
- Draft, distribute, and track offer letters while ensuring all pre-employment requirements are met
- Support the onboarding process by coordinating background checks, collecting immunization records, and preparing orientation schedules
- Send timely and professional communication to candidates, including interview confirmations and declination notices
- Maintain accuracy and compliance in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and HR files
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience by serving as a friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact throughout the hiring process
What We’re Looking For
- Education or Experience – You have an associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in a recruitment or HR support role
- Recruitment/HR Exposure – 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or administrative coordination where you managed multiple priorities
- Tech Proficiency – Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willing to learn HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems
- Organized and Detail-Oriented – Able to keep track of deadlines, candidate files, and compliance requirements with accuracy
- Trusted Professional – Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Strong Communicator – Clear, approachable, and professional in both written and verbal interactions
