What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per diem Speech Therapist (SLP) position at MAINE VETERANS HOMES?
MVH is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to join the rehab team at our Scarborough facility.
Candidates must be available to provide weekday hours, as well as commit to one weekend day per month.
The SLP evaluates and treats residents; communicates with residents, families, physicians, and other health team members; maintains documentation of services in the EMR; and conducts in-services and training for facility staff, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and MVH policies and procedures.
You would be joining a therapy team that is highly skilled and integrated throughout the facility.

Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited SLP program
- Possesses a minimum of a Master’s Degree in SLP
- Must have current State of Maine licensure as a SLP
- Experience in long-term care environment preferred
