We have Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) openings available across our nursing programs, with a variety of shifts and schedules to fit your experience and availability:
- Memory Care - Evening Shift: 36/24 schedule (12-hour shifts)
- Skilled Nursing - Evening Shift: 24/24 schedule (8-hour shifts)
- Skilled Nursing - Night Shift: 36/36 schedule (12-hour shifts)
Shift & Weekend Differentials:
- 2nd Shift: $4.00/hour
- 3rd Shift: $5.00/hour
- Weekend: $2.50/hour in addition to applicable shift differential

Position Summary for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
The LPN is a valued member of the nursing team responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident's individualized care plan. This role supports residents in a designated care setting while promoting dignity, comfort, and safety. LPNs also provide clinical oversight, coordination of care, and guidance to nursing assistants as appropriate.
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and clinical interventions
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Supervise and support CNAs in delivering daily care and ensuring quality standards are met
- Observe, document, and report changes in residents' condition to appropriate team members
- Promote residents' independence, preferences, and dignity while maintaining safety
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, team members, residents, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions
- Active and in-good-standing LPN license in the State of Maine
- Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisors
- Ability to exercise clinical judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Basic computer skills
