We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our 5-star dietary team as a Cook. The Cook is responsible for safe food handling, preparation of meals for our residents, including some therapeutic dietary needs. This position requires experience in all phases of food service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively understand and respond to residents' needs and inquiries. Basic computer skills are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe food handling and preparation of meals for residents
- Supervision of Food Service Workers in the absence of the Dietary Manager
- Experience in all phases of food service, preferably in a healthcare setting
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to understand and respond to residents' needs and inquiries
- Basic computer skills
