What are the responsibilities and job description for the HiSET Math Teacher position at Maine School Administrative District No 75?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for running Merrymeeting Adult Education HiSET labs, teaching Math for high school equivalency diploma.
- Math experience preferred.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Four-year educational degree with teaching/training experience.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Computer proficiency.
- Proven ability to engage students in a positive classroom experience.
- Proven ability to be organized, understand and implement curriculum and communicate detailed and timely responses to student work.
- Position is not for credit. Maine Department of Education Certification preferred, but not required.
