What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Manager position at Maine Real Estate Management LLC?
Responsible for Overseeing and performing day to day maintenance of a newly constructed Modern Class A Office Building.
Regular Hours M-F (7am - 3:30pm) but must be able to respond to after hours emergency maintenance issues.
$28/hr
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and coordinate with appropriate vendor
-Ability to work around and help staff working in the building with a positive attitude .
-Perform light duty maintenance (change ceiling tiles, light bulbs, touch up paint, move boxes, light plumbing, Janitorial, etc.)
-Comfortable with basic computer use (E-Mail, Microsoft Word and basics of Excel, IPad tablet)
-Respond to building within 1/2 hour for any after hours building emergency calls .
- Daily inspections for any defects/maintenance problems
-Monitor Preventative Maintenance tasks including proper functioning of HVAC, boiler equipment, plumping fixtures, light fixture and generator.
- I nspect and monitor work done by outside contractors and oversee all Preventative Maintenance contracts(snow removal, lawn care, custodial, mechanical systems, fire systems, elevators, trash removal, recycling, water testing, sprinkler and backflow testing, etc.) Compensation Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
