Job Description

Seeking a sales superstar to join our boutique multi-physician cosmetic surgery practice as a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) in our Portland, Maine location. The PCC is one of the most vital roles in our office, so we need a consummate professional with a can-do attitude who is willing to work hands-on, doing "whatever it takes" to get the job done. The new team member will be focused on delivering excellent care while contributing to the growth of our business. You must excel at building relationships in a high-energy environment with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor. We are looking for someone who will be comfortable working with a tenured team that works hard but has a great time together too!

The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Sales-educating patients in person and via phone on services and products using a consultative sales approach, laying out highly customized treatment plans to help patients look and feel their best
  • Assist patients in making confident decisions to undergo surgical and non-surgical procedures
  • Following up with previous patients (50-100 patients) daily to continue to cultivate a relationship with them and renew their interest in a potential partnership with MPS.
  • Comb through the current database to find and follow up with under-contacted people regularly, five days a week by phone, in person, and via text and email, and be lightning quick on a computer.
  • Function as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Organization, timely task completion, and a desire to get things done.

  • NOTE: THIS IS A SALES ROLE WITH SOME ADMIN DUTIES. NOT AN ADMIN POSITION.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a similar position with demonstrated competency in sales
  • Ability to present pricing ranging from 10k-100k with confidence and belief in the value
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport and maintain positive relationships with a variety of personalities, patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Proficient PC skills with exposure to electronic medical records systems. Lightening-fast typing ability
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours typically M-F, anywhere from 8am-6pm
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
  • Excellent follow-up and organization skills
  • Professionalism in presentation and attitude, honesty, and excellent work ethic
  • Ability to Adapt and learn new systems, positive growth-minded attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
