Maine Oxy is hiring a full-time CDL-A HazMat driver based out of Auburn, ME. This role offers dedicated weekly routes, and ideal for drivers looking for stability without long-haul uncertainty.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver cylinders to retail store locations
- Load/unload cylinders and return empties to the fill plant
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain DOT compliance
- Build relationships with repeat customers and help manage their inventory needs
This is an active, hands-on role which is ideal for drivers who prefer staying engaged throughout the day rather than sitting behind the wheel for long stretches.
Qualifications:What You’ll Need
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (or recent driving school within 4 years)
- Clean driving record (no accidents/violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 25–75 lbs regularly; occasionally 75 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to safely detect potential gas leaks (smell/hearing)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
