Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues
- Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts
- Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
- Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional

What you'll need
- Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes
- At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years
- A clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years
- Able to meet DOT physical qualification standards
- Able to read Safety Data Sheets and comfortable with basic computer order entry
- Experience handling compressed gases is a plus, not a requirement
What to expect (this is physical, hands-on work)
- Drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours, with frequent bending, standing, and reaching
- Routinely lift 25 to 75 pounds, occasionally more with equipment
- Work indoors and out, from roughly -10°F to over 100°F
- Use your senses to spot leaking gas from cylinders (see, hear, smell)
