What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Class A Driver position at MAINE OXY-ACETYLENE SUPPLY COMPANY?
Maine Oxy is currently hiring a full time Class A CDL Driver with Hazmat Endorsement to drive a truck loaded with compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders and hard goods to deliver to customers or retail stores on a scheduled route!
What You’ll Do:
- Drive a 48 foot trailer on a set route
- Deliver gas cylinders and hard goods to retail stores
- Pick up empty cylinders, return to plant for refilling
- Complete basic paperwork for deliveries
- Perform daily truck safety checks
- Use forklift/pallet jack when needed
- Keep safety a top priority at all time

Qualifications:What You Need:
- Class A CDL (Hazmat Air Brakes required)
- Clean driving record (no recent accidents/violations)
- At least 1 year driving experience (or recent driving school)
- Ability to lift 25–75 lbs regularly (sometimes more)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Basic communication and customer service skills
