Maine Oxy is looking for a hard-working, hands-on Counter Sales Rep to join our shop in Belmont, NH. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Put safety first. Always.
- Help customers at the counter—answer questions, solve problems, and get them what they need
- Learn the products so you can give solid advice (don’t worry, we’ll train you)
- Pitch in wherever needed—this is a team shop
- Handle basic paperwork and keep things organized
- Step up and help run the store when the manager’s out
- Work with regular customers and build good relationships
- Help price out jobs, put together quotes, and support the sales team
- Fix issues when they come up—keep customers happy
- Stock shelves, label products, and keep the place looking sharp
- Help set up displays, assemble equipment, and even show customers how things work

What Helps (But We Can Teach You):
- Experience with welding or industrial gases is a big plus
- Any kind of sales or customer-facing work
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, or shop products
- Comfortable using a handheld device (we use Zebra scanners—easy to learn)
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
What the Job Is Like (Physical Stuff):
- You’ll be on your feet a good part of the day—some sitting, some standing, lots of moving around
- Using your hands, reaching, bending, crouching—it’s a working job, not a desk job
- You’ll need good vision (near, far, color, all that)
- Lifting is part of the deal—anywhere from 25 up to 75 lbs now and then
