The Bistro Attendant plays a key role in delivering the warm, welcoming service that Courtyard by Marriott is known for. This position is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment, and creating a positive guest experience from morning coffee to evening cocktails.

Located in the heart of our hotel lobby, The Bistro is a vibrant A La Carte restaurant where guests place their orders at the counter and enjoy freshly prepared meals served with care. It’s fast-paced, friendly, and full of flavor—just like our team!

What You’ll Do

• Take orders and ensure accuracy with a personal touch
• Prepare and serve fresh food and beverages
• Maintain a clean and inviting environment

• Previous Starbucks experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to all guests
• Take food and beverage orders, answer menu questions, and offer recommendations.
• Ensure guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their dining experience.
• Food & Beverage Preparation
• Prepare and serve Starbucks® beverages according to brand standards
• Assemble and cook Bistro menu items following established recipes and safety guidelines
• Accurately handle POS transactions, including cash, credit, and room charges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked Bistro area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and receiving deliveries.
• Collaborate with front desk and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow.
• Communicate guest needs or issues promptly to supervisors.
• Support other departments when necessary to enhance the overall guest experience.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous food service or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic food handling knowledge; ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, or move items up to 25 lbs.
• Perform repetitive motions such as pouring, lifting, and reaching.
