Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in coordinating installation projects and managing our workforce schedule. The Production Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling installations, coordinating with customers and installation teams, and ensuring timely completion of projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule flooring installations based on project requirements, customer preferences, and availability of installation teams.
2. Coordinate with customers to schedule installation appointments and confirm project details.
3. Communicate scheduling changes and updates to customers, installation teams, and other stakeholders.
4. Maintain accurate records of installation schedules, including project details, customer information, and installation team assignments.
5. Monitor project progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts or delays.
6. Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure efficient scheduling and timely completion of projects.
7. Assist with the coordination of materials and equipment needed for installations.
8. Provide administrative support to the installation department, including data entry, filing, and document management.
9. Assist with customer inquiries and resolve scheduling-related issues.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Prior experience in commercial construction scheduling, installer coordination, or production management support preferred.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and scheduling information.
8. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Familiarity with scheduling software or systems is a plus.
