Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Field Logistics Technician to join our team and contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse. This role supports both the field and warehouse teams by assisting with deliveries, jobsite organization, and final project checks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit completed projects to confirm quality standards are met and ensure client/end-user satisfaction.
- Occasionally operate a 20' box truck to deliver materials to job sites safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading and unloading flooring materials at commercial job sites.
- Perform site cleanups, including removal of excess materials, debris, and job-related waste.
- Communicate jobsite observations and concerns back to the operations team.
- Support installers and project managers to ensure projects stay organized and on schedule.
- Ensure materials are secured properly during transport.
- Verify deliveries against packing slips and job orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory handling, and material staging.
· Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks requiring bending and reaching.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, preferred.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
