POJECTED START DATE: Spring (January 2026) semester
Co-instructor, Clinical Procedures 1– MDAS 160 – lead instructor is looking for qualified individual to co-teach clinical skills labs to medical assisting students- i.e. vital signs, setting up sterile field, assisting provider with minor surgery or exams. Co-instructor will also correct any student documentation produced from a given skill lab. Course meets on Tuesdays from 8:30am -12noon So Portland Campus
Co-instructor, Clinical Procedures II– MDAS 210 – lead instructor is looking for qualified individual to co-teach clinical skills labs to medical assisting students- i.e. injections, phlebotomy and EKGs. Co-instructor will also correct any student documentation produced from a given skill lab. Course meets on Fridays from 9am -12:30pm on the Brunswick Campus
Required Qualifications:
· Graduate from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or Council for Higher Education (CHEA).
· 2 years of occupational –practical experience- ambulatory care setting
· Prefer teaching experience in medical assisting
· Bachelor’s degree- prefer master’s degree
· Holds a current license, certification, or other credential as required by local, state or federal laws
