What You Will Do to Change Lives
The Unit Clerk provides support services to the nursing, clinical, and medical staff. Duties are typically clerical and technical in nature and will involve contact with members served.
Shifts Available:
WEEKEND: Saturday and Sunday; 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Short Hour .40
Expected starting wage range is $22.88 - $27.57. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
- High school graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
- Six (6) months' experience as a unit clerk or administrative support staff in a health care environment
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and Electronic Health Record (EHR)

As part of the Telecare Family, the Santa Cruz County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed locked acute psychiatric inpatient program for adults aged 18 , diagnosed with serious mental illness (SMI), experiencing a mental health emergency and require intensive treatment and support. The CSP is a locked crisis program. It serves adults 18 admitted both voluntarily and involuntarily. The length of stay is up to 23 hours.
