Job Description:
Are you someone who enjoys working with people and making a positive impact on their lives? We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently under the direction of our Activity Director. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and joyful environment for our residents.
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday evening shift, Saturday and Sunday day shift and fill ins as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate daily activities that engage and entertain residents.
- Assist in basic documentation of activities and resident participation.
- Maintain a neat and tidy activity area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to develop new and exciting programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all residents.
Qualifications:
- A passion for working with people and enhancing their quality of life.
- STNA Licnese prefferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- A caring and compassionate personality.
