Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, as well as the ability to handle patient inquiries and appointments with professionalism.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Insurance Verification
- Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans.
- Process dental insurance claims and follow-up.
- Collect patient co-pays and outstanding balances.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner, addressing patient questions or concerns.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of dental admin experience is required.
- Proficiency in dental terminology.
- Familiarity with Dentrix.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient experience.
