What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Rug Labor Assistant position at Main Street Oriental Rugs?
Job Summary
Hiring a responsible and trustworthy area rug labor assistant who will help to move, lift, clean, and transport area rugs. On the job training will be provided.
Duties include:
- Moving and lifting rugs in a retail store setting - MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 60 LBS
- Assisting with pick-up and delivery of rugs from and to project locations
- Assisting with cleaning rugs
- Assisting with measuring and cutting rug pads
- Assisting with general up-keep of retail store
Requirements:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Must be able to use basic tools, like chalk lines and scissors
- Must work well with other team members
- Clean background check
- References
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
