Summary
The Assistant Program Manager is responsible for coordination of admission and discharges for the apartment program and the oversight of all case files and service plans for each resident. The Assistant Program Manager works closely with the Apartment Program Manager/Director to support the Apartment Case Managers and other CR support staff as directed in fulfilling their job duties to ensure the agency is providing the best possible care, as well as following all required guidelines.

Preferred: Experience with developmentally delayed, geriatric and co-occurring disorder clients.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the process of admission and discharge and the notification of appropriate agencies upon admission and discharge.
- Manages all aspects of resident funding to include the initiation, establishment and maintenance of funding for residents
- Works with the ACM and Director when consumers are in crisis situations to model and support proper procedures to follow as well as determine if the APM/CRM needs involvement. Authority to make on the spot decisions regarding the safety of residents if APM/CRM/Director is not available.
- Oversees and assists ACM with the creation of admission plans and IAP’s for residents
- Responsible for maintaining a list of service plan and service plan review due dates.
- Oversees Apartment Case Managers to ensure chart compliance. This includes assisting with chart audits, filing/scanning.
- Responsible for training new ACM by completing on-site training in conjunction with the APM.
- Manages training requirements.
- Assists in the completion of referrals to other programs and providers as needed.
- Responsible for carrying a caseload as needed/directed to cover for absences and position vacancies.
- Maintains physical plant inventories prior to admission, after discharges and as necessary.
- Makes necessary purchases for apartments as directed.
- Manages apartment maintenance program by visiting each apartment monthly and oversees the completion of noted maintenance issues and coordinate scheduled apartment upkeep visits with the apartment case managers as necessary.
- Assists the APM with the development and distribution of the monthly “What’s Up” calendar;
- Assume roles and responsibilities of the APM in the event of an absence.
- Provides input on employee evaluations and with interviewing potential employees.
- Dispense weekly PNA checks and grocery money and petty cash as needed/directed.
- Assists with incident follow up/investigations and other assigned tasks as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned.
