Necessary Qualifications And Skills

• We welcome Certified Hygienists of all experience levels to apply
• Active Hygienist License in the state of New York
• Warm, compassionate and professional chairside manner - we want our patients to feel well taken care of!
• General understanding of standard dental software, including Dexis and Eaglesoft
• Excellent communicator - must be fluent in both English and Spanish
• A self-starting team player - you’re there to help when needed, but also own your work without direct supervision
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist certification in NJ
• X-ray certification in NY and/or NJ
• Conversant in French Creole
  
  
  

Accountabilities

• End to end management of patient hygiene appointments
• Educating patients on proper oral health techniques - instilling a sense of careful ownership of personal oral hygiene in our patient base
• Patient screenings, both pre- and post-up, providing an extra set of eyes and hands to our doctors

Dr. Patti specializes in pediatric dentistry, while Dr. Suero focuses on serving the underserved Latinx community.
