Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated AFTERNOON Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team. While experience is not required the ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to nurturing young minds. Hours needed are 1:00pm-5:00pm but willing to consider 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Must be 18 years old!
Duties:
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages children to explore and discover new concepts
- Foster positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate their creativity and critical thinking skills
Experience:
- Previous experience in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred, not required.
- Proficiency in communicating effectively with young children and their parents
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute educational activities
- Knowledge of toddler care best practices and early childhood development principles
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior guidance strategies
