Graphite is searching for a full-time experienced Breakfast Cook, anticipated opening date mid January2024. Looking for motivated individuals with strong work ethic and the ability to adapt with an eagerness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare breakfast dishes according to the menu, following recipes and portion sizes.
- Cook and garnish dishes with attention to detail and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory and stock levels, ensuring necessary ingredients are available.
- Handle cooking equipment and kitchen tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely order delivery.
- Keep track of food preparation times to ensure fast service during peak hours.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with team members and customers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in breakfast or short-order cooking (1-2 years).
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Certifications:
- Food safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe) preferred
Compensation
$16-$18/hour based on experience
