Job Summary
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team for a full time position.
Must have some experience working as a pharmacy tech.
This position requires an understanding of medical terminology, aseptic technique, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Provide support in managing inventory, including restocking medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with other techs and pharmacists for optimal performance.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required, please dont apply if you do not have experience working in a pharmacy.
- Must have knowledge on how to handle phone calls (Refills, New Patient Transfers, etc)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience is a must. Certification is not required
- Experience in a retail pharmacy like CVS, RiteAid or Private.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
