QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required; Minimum of one year of related experience may be substituted for degree requirements
- Experience working with homeless and/or at-risk populations preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group of residents, staff, and community partners.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), email, and internet applications.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee compliance with all facility rules.
- Provide support to all residents in the Vocational Services program.
- Assist with facilitating the intake and discharge process and client orientation.
- Complete accurate and timely data entry into the HMIS system
- Coordinate care with Vocational case management team and others on behalf of program participants for eligibility documentation, mental and physical health services.
- Maintain, record, and report the progression of program participants to the Vocational Case Management team.
- Attend all scheduled team meetings and training.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
