Responsibilities

  • Assist with supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions.
  • Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to foster a high-performance environment.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential and maintain attractive product displays.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with management on sales strategies, marketing initiatives, pricing adjustments, and promotional activities to boost store performance.

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in supervising retail teams and managing store operations.
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency to connect with diverse customers and staff.
  • Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, inventory management, and retail math to optimize sales margins and stock levels.
  • Proficient in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, payroll administration, and basic accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in retail management areas such as shift management, merchandising, stocking, marketing, and customer service excellence.
  • Adept at training & development techniques to enhance team performance; experienced in interviewing and recruiting top talent.
  • Organized with strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
