What are the responsibilities and job description for the Donor Match Coordinator position at Main Line Fertility?
This Donor Match Coordinator position is primarily responsible for screening of potential egg donor candidates.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinates donor screening and testing to determine if prospective donors are candidates for egg donation.
- Establishes an ongoing relationship with prospective and established donors in an effort to provide education throughout PFC’s donor screening and cycle process.
- Able to articulate information of medical nature; may include but not limited to explanation of hormone medication, injections, medical testing, and surgical procedure to remove eggs from ovaries.
- Schedules appointments for donor screening; coordinates multiple appointments for internal providers (i.e., physician, Nurse Practitioner, etc.) as well as outside contract providers (Marriage and Family Therapist (M.F.T.), genetic counselor) with special attention to detail.
- Liaise with reception and/or scheduling staff for outside contract providers.
- Receives and reviews donor test results before presentation to physician for sign off.
- Coordinates telephone screening appointments and off-site testing for out-of-town donors.
- Attends meetings to discuss ongoing cases; contributes to and assists agency director with maintenance of relevant spreadsheets/documentation.
- Works in a collaborative effort with MFT, genetic counselor, physicians and nurse staff to complete screening and stimulation cycle for donors.
- Responsible for coordinating all travel and lodging accommodations, as well as donor payments and reimbursements.
- Completes and submits donor check requests.
- Responsible for presentation of donor profiles for all necessary reviews from internal staff.
- Administrative support role to EDA Director
- Works in a collaborative relationship with the EDA team, and cross-trained to assist team when needed.
- Assists with special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a health care related field highly preferred.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience, including knowledge of the healthcare industry, sales and/or marketing, or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
- Experience with Outlook, Excel and Photoshop preferred.
