Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring each drink meets high quality standards and presentation expectations
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep offerings fresh, innovative, and aligned with current trends in mixology and brewing
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless guest experiences in both restaurant and nightclub settings
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and transaction management
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or banquet halls
- Strong understanding of beverage recipe development, mixology techniques, wine knowledge, spirits expertise, and craft beer experience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts confidently without compromising quality or safety standards
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling practices, and proper alcohol service regulations
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
