Main Clinic Supply is a fast-growing, authorized reseller of premium FDA-cleared portable oxygen concentrators (Inogen Rove, CAIRE FreeStyle, Oxlife, etc.). We help patients regain mobility and independence with high-ticket medical devices that improve quality of life. Lead gen is already dialed in—we generate a high daily volume of qualified inbound leads. The missing piece is closing. Our current remote sales team is underperforming because processes, training, accountability, and motivation systems are inconsistent.
We are hiring a Director of Sales (Remote Team Builder) who will own the entire sales organization from hiring to revenue. This is a high-impact role for someone who has successfully scaled remote, high-velocity, high-ticket sales teams (ideally in medical/DME, insurance, or complex consumer sales). You will design and implement the exact systems that turn average reps into consistent closers (daily role-play huddles, call recording & dissection, immersive onboarding, performance scorecards, leaderboards, and clear incentive structures).
Key Responsibilities (what success looks like in the first 90 days):
→ Build the team: Hire, onboard, and grow the remote sales team from ~10 to 30–40 reps. You will personally handle recruiting, interviewing, and selecting A-players who are coachable, high-work-ethic, and hungry - Goal is scaling to $60M
→ Create repeatable systems: Document a world-class sales playbook (scripts, objection handlers, qualification process, closing sequences) tailored to portable oxygen concentrators. Implement Hormozi-style training: daily huddles with live role-playing, weekly call reviews ("one big win per session"), certification programs, and immersive onboarding so every rep can replicate top-performer behaviors.
→ Drive performance: Set, track, and enforce KPIs (calls/demos per day, close rate, average deal size, ramp time). Build dashboards, leaderboards, and contests that create healthy competition. Implement performance-based compensation (base commission bonuses) that rewards results and retains top talent.
→ Manage & develop people: Conduct 1:1 coaching, performance reviews, promotions, and (when necessary) fast terminations. Motivate a fully remote team through culture, recognition, career paths ("sell → teach → build"), and consistent feedback loops.
→ Own the numbers: Hit aggressive revenue targets by improving close rates on existing high-volume leads. Identify bottlenecks and iterate the process weekly.
→ Hybrid consultant option: If you prefer a shorter-term engagement, we are open to a 3–6 month consulting sprint to design and install all systems (playbooks, training academy, hiring funnel, KPI framework) before transitioning to a full-time Director or handing off to an internal leader you help hire.
What we expect you to bring:
→ Proven track record scaling a remote sales team 3x (10 → 30 reps) in high-ticket ($1k–$5k ) or medical/DME sales. → Deep experience building sales systems from zero: playbooks, daily training rituals, role-play drills, onboarding that actually works, and data-driven management. → Comfort selling (or deeply understanding) complex, high-ticket medical devices to seniors/patients/families—insurance verification, Medicare knowledge, empathy consultative closing is a big plus. → Obsession with training and replication (Hormozi-style repetition until the script and behaviors are automatic). → Ability to operate remotely with strong written/video communication and tools (CRM, Gong/Zoom call recording, Slack, Google Workspace, dashboards).
