What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrative Assistant position at Main Appliance Service?
We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our growing company. In this role, you’ll coordinate service appointments, manage technician schedules and routes, and ensure clear, consistent communication with customers. You’ll also act as a liaison with appliance manufacturers and dealers, so strong documentation and organizational skills are essential. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, can work independently, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Tasks
Answer phone calls, emails, or online inquiries to schedule repair appointments
Coordinate technicians’ daily and weekly schedules to maximize efficiency
Assign service calls to technicians based on location, skill set, and availability
Confirm appointments with customers via phone, text, or email, and reschedule or cancel appointments as needed
Creating, reviewing, and maintaining records of customers' work orders
Maintain calm and professionalism during high call volumes or customer complaints
Stay familiar with service zones, technician specialties, and company policies
Verify warranty coverage and documents
