Hebrew Language Teacher
2026-2027 Academic Year
Maimonides School, a K-12 Modern Orthodox Jewish day school in Brookline, MA is seeking experienced candidates to teach Hebrew language for the 2026-2027 school year.
Flexible schedules and teaching opportunities are available.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a combination of classes in Middle/Upper School grades. Classes will focus on critical skills related to the four strands of language acquisition; listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Provide an environment that encourages participation and recognizes the needs of individual students and the entire group.
- Integrate Hebrew language and Israel into other areas of the School through interdepartmental collaboration.
- Work as part of a cooperative and diverse team of educators and administrators to carry out the mission of Maimonides School.
- Cultivate positive relationships with current and prospective students and parents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required;
- 2-4 years experience teaching;
- Experience teaching Hebrew as a second language;
- Interest in professional growth and commitment to continuous learning.
