Maimone Legal is a fast-growing immigration law firm helping individuals, families, and investors move to the United States through business, investor, and employment-based immigration pathways.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supervising Attorney to join our dedicated legal team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to provide legal services in the area of U.S. immigration law and related employment-based matters.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Represent individual and corporate clients in immigration and business law matters, including business and investment-based, employment-based, and family-based filings, before U.S. government agencies.
- Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions and applications, including forms, supporting documentation, and legal memoranda.
- Analyze client eligibility under applicable statutes, regulations, and agency guidance, and advise clients on legal options and risks.
- Conduct legal research and draft written analyses addressing complex immigration issues.
- Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, timelines, documentation requirements, and procedural updates.
- Review and supervise case preparation performed by case-managers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Correspond with U.S. government agencies and respond to requests for evidence, notices, or inquiries.
- Maintain case files and ensure compliance with internal procedures and professional responsibility obligations.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law and supervise junior associates, paralegals, and legal assistants.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- At least one (1) year experience in business/investment-based immigration law
Special Skills / Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge of U.S. immigration law principles and procedures.
- Ability to analyze statutes, regulations, and administrative guidance.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a professional legal environment.
Licensure Requirements:
- Must be eligible to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction or obtain required licensure within a reasonable period after hire.
Job Location / Worksite:
- ·Primary worksite: 550 W Cypress Creek Rd., Ste. 370, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309. This position will be onsite.
