Material Handler
Mailing Systems Inc (MSI) has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced Material Handler in our growing West Sacramento printing, mailing, and communication facility. Ideal candidates will be reliable, able to follow directions and work independently and with a team.

This individual will be proactive, energetic, detail-oriented, and able to complete tasks independently. The Warehouse and Materials Handler will report directly to the Fulfillment Manager.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
- Load and unload docked trucks with powered sit down and standup lifts and electric pallet jacks.
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Locates and packs materials for shipping.
- Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
- Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Inventory management systems experience is a plus.
- Must be organized and have the ability to multitask.
- Communicates effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work with all departments within the company to mitigate issues.
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
- Forklift/Lift Truck Experience Required
- Ability to Lift 50lbs
We offer a comprehensive employee benefits package that includes medical coverage with paid time off and holiday pay. This position is an hourly, full-time, non-exempt position. The hourly rate is $19 - $22 per hour depending on experience and aptitude.
