About the Role
Mailbox Plus is a local, customer-focused shipping and business services center in the heart of Branson, Missouri. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Pack & Ship Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store — helping customers ship packages, organizing incoming items, and ensuring every order is packed with care.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance at the counter
- Receive, log, and sort customer drop-off items for shipment
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit
- Process shipments through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS
- Weigh packages, calculate shipping costs, and collect payment
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, including the receiving and packaging stations
- Track and follow up on packages as needed to support customer inquiries
- Assist with inventory of packing supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Basic computer knowledge including email
- Retail merchandising of our gift items
- Perform additional store duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail, shipping, or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to operate a computer, point-of-sale system, and shipping software (training provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods, bending, and regularly lifting packages up to 40 lbs. Candidates must be comfortable working in a physically active environment.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Candidates must be available to work within these hours. Part-time and full-time availability will be considered.
