Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and field service experience. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment across various properties, ensuring optimal indoor climate control and system efficiency. Candidates with experience in construction, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair are highly encouraged to apply. A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites. Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure proper installation and maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan
• Conduct equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues related to property maintenance, plumbing, or appliance malfunctioning
• Repair ammonia refrigeration systems and work with specialized HVAC/R systems as needed
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems following industry best practices

Skills

• Proven experience as a service technician within HVAC or related fields such as construction or property maintenance
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans
• Experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus
• Skilled in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and general maintenance tasks
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters
• Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and repairs
• Ability to operate various tools and machinery safely in field service environments
• Mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex HVAC issues
• Valid driver’s license for travel between multiple job sites

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
