This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. You choose which jobs to accept based on your availability and operate as an independent business.
Pay
- Earn 45% of the total price of every completed job—larger and premium jobs mean higher earnings.
- You'll know your exact earnings before accepting any job.
- 100% of your tips are yours.
- Paid weekly via Zelle or direct deposit.
- Reliable, highly rated contractors are typically offered additional opportunities first and may be eligible for performance, holiday, or referral bonuses.
What You'll Need
- At least 1 year of paid residential cleaning experience
- Your own non-toxic, low-odor cleaning supplies (free from bleach, ammonia, and synthetic fragrances)
- General liability insurance (minimum $1 million coverage)
- A smartphone capable of running the BookingKoala app (our scheduling platform)
- Must live within approximately 20 minutes of Hoboken, NJ to ensure reliable arrival for our 8:00 AM appointments. Applicants commuting from New York City are generally not a good fit due to unpredictable tunnel and bridge traffic.
- A valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position—not an employee role. You choose which jobs to accept, use your own tools and supplies, maintain your own insurance, and are responsible for your own taxes.
