OB/GYN or Family Medicine Physician with Obstetric Experience

We are seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN or Family Medicine physician with obstetric experience to join our growing women’s health practice in Renton, WA. In this role, the physician will provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic and office-based prenatal care.

The position focuses on outpatient gynecology as well as antepartum care, with the potential to expand into delivery services in the future.

We are looking for a provider who thrives in a multidisciplinary clinical environment, collaborating closely with midwives, ARNPs, ultrasound technologists, medical assistants, and other clinical support staff. We prioritize shared expertise, mutual respect, and seamless coordination to ensure the best possible care for our patients.

Preference given to physicians with existing WA State based practice.

Job Description:

This role includes direct patient care, administrative duties, staff management, and compliance oversight, as well as serving as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Gynecology:

● Well-woman exams

● Contraceptive management (including LARCs)

● Abnormal uterine bleeding

● PCOS, perimenopause, menopause care

● Colposcopy and endometrial biopsy

Office-Based Obstetrics:

● Routine prenatal visits for low-risk pregnancies

● Early pregnancy evaluation

● Postpartum visits

● Coordination with delivering OB teams

● Supervise nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers in the practice

● Review complex cases and provide clinical decision-making support when needed

Required Qualifications:

● MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

● BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with an obstetric focus

● Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Washington

● Experience in providing outpatient prenatal care

● Comfortable managing low-risk obstetrics in the office setting

● Proficiency in common in-office gynecologic procedures

● Demonstrated experience leading or working within interprofessional clinical teams, including collaboration with advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff

● Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care

● Detail-oriented

● Commitment to equity, respect, and kindness in patient care and team leadership

● Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience working alongside or partnering with midwifery-led or team-based care models

● Familiarity with quality improvement, clinical operations, and performance metrics in ambulatory care
