Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash disposal to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Conduct specialized cleaning procedures such as window washing, pressure washing, floor care, and sanitation of restrooms and kitchens.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Manage laundry services where applicable, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms.
- Execute janitorial duties with precision in various environments—offices, retail spaces, industrial sites—ensuring all areas meet hygiene standards.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supply inventories, and safety procedures to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Support infection control protocols by following proper sanitation procedures and handling chemicals responsibly.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with window cleaning, pressure washing, floor care, and sanitation practices.
- Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and the safe use of cleaning products.
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required for moving equipment or supplies safely.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and site personnel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Prior experience in infection control practices is advantageous for maintaining safe environments.
