GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONEvoke Advisors, a Division of MAI, is currently seeking a candidate with excellent quantitative, qualitative, and interpersonal skills for a Financial Analyst position. You will serve as a member of the advisory team and assist Advisors in portfolio analysis, fulfilling client requests, and providing technical and administrative support. Financial Analysts must be able to think on their feet, learn quickly, and complete requests with a standard of excellence.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial modeling and portfolio analysisSupport all aspects of creating client meeting materials and performance reportingReview current client allocations and suggest changes as necessary to ensure portfolio remains in line with client goalsWork closely with the client services team and Advisors to create appropriate asset allocations and maintain client portfoliosExecute trades and money movement requestsIdentifies opportunities to improve internal team processes.Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALSBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.2-4 years analytical experience in a Finance or related business role; Financial Services industry experience a plus.2 years’ experience working with financial management, enterprise resource planning, and reporting systems and tools (Hyperion, Essbase, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).2 years’ experience in budget preparation and administration; strong financial and/or accounting acumen.Strong analytical, problem solving, and statistical analysis skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, Access (or similar database application).COMPETENCIESThrives in a fast-paced and dynamic team-based, collaborative environment, and works well with others to resolve conflicts, especially under pressure.Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to handle critical internal relationships within the firm, including with other department and employees of all levels, up to and including the Management team.Problem solving and analytical skills; able to clearly define a problem, synthesize data to derive fact-based insights and actionable recommendations.Organized, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, while still maintaining flexibility to meet firm needs.Maintains absolute confidentiality of all financial information and safeguards firm data; maintains high ethical standard in all practices.Professional and positive demeanor, superb work ethic, high level of personal ethics and integrity.FEATURED BENEFITS: Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k)Health Savings AccountPaid Maternity LeavePaid Parental LeaveTuition Reimbursement
