Position Overview
A rapidly growing home care organization is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to bring billing operations in-house. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a growing company and take on increasing responsibility as the organization expands.
Responsibilities
- Manage medical billing and claims processing
- Submit accurate and timely claims to payers
- Follow up on outstanding, denied, and rejected claims
- Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Manage AR and ensure timely reimbursement
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
- Help build and improve billing processes as the company grows
Qualifications
- 2 years of medical billing experience
- Home care billing experience strongly preferred
- Nursing home or similar healthcare billing experience will be considered
- Strong knowledge of claims, denials, reimbursement, and AR follow-up
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
