Position is full-time, part of the clerical bargaining unit and based at the O. H. Anderson Elementary. Salary and benefits part of Clerical Master Agreement.
Start Date: December 1, 2025
Starting Hourly Rate: $22.65
Hours: Mon-Fri, 217 Contract days – 7 hours/day (8:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.)
Job Summary:
The receptionist is responsible for basic operations at the front desk of the main office. This position greets all visitors to the building and assists families, students and visitors with general questions or concerns as needed. This position also helps track student attendance, completes weekly family communications, and supports the building administrative team and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
High School education and 1-2 years related experience, preferably in an educational or Community Education setting. Expertise with the following computer systems:
Qualifications:
- Excels at providing excellent customer service, goes above and beyond to resolve customer issues and provide overall client satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with administrators, district staff, parents, students, and visitors.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi task and high level prioritization skills.
- Prior experience in Microsoft office, Google Suite applications and Web based platforms
- Prior experience supporting administration through scheduling, organization, and communications. Experience handling multiple work tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Exhibits a positive attitude and strong motivation to complete daily work tasks.
