Qualifications
- Background in STEM Education, hands-on learning, and building authentic units of study based in inquiry
- Experience with innovative fabrication-based learning environments (e.g. 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines and design software)
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching
- Strong knowledge of middle school science curriculum and standards
- Collaborative team member of a Professional Learning Community, striving to implement best practices for instruction and assessment
- Seeks opportunities to improve their practice through coaching feedback and ongoing reflectionContributes positively to the middle school team of adults who work closely to create a positive and productive student learning experience

- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies. Use of data for progress monitoring and tracking.
- Update all necessary records accurately as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
- Attend department, school and parent meetings or functions
