While this position includes significant travel to support our customers in the Western US, the successful candidate must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our CYPRESS, CA office. Includes Company car, benefits, paid vacation, and paid overtime.

We have an exciting opportunity for a FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER in the SOUTHERN CA area. While this position includes significant travel to support our customers in the Western US, the successful candidate must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our CYPRESS, CA office. Objectives:
- Ensure Customer satisfaction by performing repairs, installations, and maintenance/calibration of Mahr systems at customer locations.
- Train customer personnel in the proper use and maintenance of the equipment, where appropriate.
- Submit weekly reports to generate billing, certification and equipment history and provide feedback on product performance.
- Up to 100% travel during the workweek, Monday through Friday.
- Field service and metrology experience desired.
- Experience in testing, calibration, and assembly of precision instruments is preferred.
- Vocational education/military or equivalent work experience required.
- Electronic and mechanical technical background required along with experience with computers and software troubleshooting.
