Experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer

Mahoney’s Building Supply is looking for an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our growing showroom team.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of your projects, develop lasting client relationships, and build your own clientele while having the support, resources, and established customer base of a locally owned company that has served the South Coast since 1884.
Our designers work directly with homeowners, contractors, and builders, guiding projects from initial ideas and measurements through design, product selection, ordering, and completion.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with homeowners, contractors, and builders to understand project needs, budgets, and design goals
- Design kitchens, bathrooms, and related spaces using 2020 Design
- Guide clients through cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and product selections
- Complete field measurements and prepare accurate quotes and proposals
- Coordinate product ordering and manage projects through completion
- Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, builders, and trade professionals
- Develop new business through referrals, repeat clients, and relationship building
What We’re Looking For
- Professional kitchen and bath design experience
- Experience with cabinetry design, space planning, and field measurements
- Strong knowledge of product selection, quoting, and the kitchen and bath sales process
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects at different stages
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Schedule
Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, including Saturdays.
Showroom Hours:Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PMSaturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
