Overview
Mahon & Rutledge is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our team as a temporary Account Manager, with the opportunity to transition into a Business Development support role.
This position will start by supporting day-to-day client operations and order management. After the initial account manager phase, the role will shift to supporting client relationships and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
Account Manager (Initial Phase)
- Manage appraisal orders across multiple lender and AMC platforms
- Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, fees, and timelines
- Coordinate with appraisers to ensure smooth order flow
- Track order status and maintain internal systems
- Identify and resolve issues proactively
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up
- Assist with reporting and tracking client volume
Business Development Support (Future Phase)
- Visit lender offices to maintain and strengthen relationships
- Support new client outreach efforts
- Represent the company in a professional, relationship-focused manner
- Gather client feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with reporting and client performance insights
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of experience in account management, client service, or operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and software
Preferred
- Experience in real estate, mortgage, appraisal, or financial services
- Experience with CRM or order management systems
- Intermediate Excel or data tracking skills
- Interest in process improvement or workflow efficiency
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools
