Overview

Mahon & Rutledge is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our team as a temporary Account Manager, with the opportunity to transition into a Business Development support role.

This position will start by supporting day-to-day client operations and order management. After the initial account manager phase, the role will shift to supporting client relationships and growth initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both operations and relationship-building and is looking for long-term growth.

Responsibilities

Account Manager (Initial Phase)

  • Manage appraisal orders across multiple lender and AMC platforms
  • Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, fees, and timelines
  • Coordinate with appraisers to ensure smooth order flow
  • Track order status and maintain internal systems
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up
  • Assist with reporting and tracking client volume

Business Development Support (Future Phase)

  • Visit lender offices to maintain and strengthen relationships
  • Support new client outreach efforts
  • Represent the company in a professional, relationship-focused manner
  • Gather client feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with reporting and client performance insights

Qualifications

Required

  • 2 years of experience in account management, client service, or operations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and software

Preferred

  • Experience in real estate, mortgage, appraisal, or financial services
  • Experience with CRM or order management systems
  • Intermediate Excel or data tracking skills
  • Interest in process improvement or workflow efficiency
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools
